The Traditional Simulated Game Shooting Experience.....
With a twist of excitement and expectation!

Hosted in a professional, safe and well run environment The Traditional Simulated Game Shooting Experience hosted by The Clay Shooting Comapny has already proven to entice even the most discerning individuals to return again and again.

Game Shooting and Clay Pigeon Shooting are truly exciting sports. When enjoyed in the context of a Traditional Game Shoot, it becomes one of the most exhilarating, liberating and challenging activities to be a part of. Almost indistinguishable from a day's driven shooting, the traditional element of the day with the drawing of pegs, formal dress, good food, fine wine, repartee and laughter are as essential to the day as the steady quarry of featherless quarry - doing a remarkable job of flying like a pheasant, partridge, duck or grouse high over the Guns barrels with exceptional speed, height and dexterity.

Experienced shots may take the opportunity to either 'get-their-eye-in' for the forthcoming season or simply enjoy the day with their syndicate, friends or company colleagues in a familiar enjoyable manner. It's also a really enjoyable way for the less experienced or novice shot to not only try shooting , but to experience a Traditional Shoot Day - an important part of our British Heritage, whilst spending quality time with good friends, colleagues or perhaps guests you may like to know better. And let's face it, not everyone wants to shoot game, so what better way to get all the other ingredients and excitement of a great day's country sport with clay pigeon targets as the main quarry.

Location

Steep valleys and stunning views. A day's game shooting in the heart of the Cotswolds, amongst the picturesque backdrop of one of the most select country Estates where your party will enjoy both the privacy and exclusivity of the grounds and Stately Home. An exhilarating environment where freedom, fresh air, space and beauty are a given. Whilst our Cotswold Estate is our primary location for Company or Corporate Hospitality, we are also able to host simulated days at other venues across the country or even a venue of your choosing (subject to necessary safety checks and permission).

Fine dining - exquisite surroundings

The stately homes on our Estates are also family homes. Beautifully and lovingly kept they ensure your day is everything you expect of a real Game Shoot. The banqueting rooms are elegance personified with long oak tables (comfortably seating 30 people) and comfortable tapestry covered chairs that simply entice you to linger longer. Lunch can be of traditional fair or tailored to your own requests. Our experienced Chef's talents are endless, turning even the simplest meals into a banquet. Whether you prefer to lunch and then finish shooting or just shoot through is at your discretion.

Transportation between drives

We chauffeur our guests around the Estate between drives in 4x4 vehicles which are included in the cost of your day. If you would prefer to use your own vehicles (4x4 only) you are most welcome.

The extra something to make the day complete

Your experience can be tailored to include Falconry or Gun Dog Displays or a Rough Shoot Drive.

Our Falconry expert

is close at hand to delight and entertain you with a hunting display. Learn how the Falcons (and other birds of prey) live and work. A hands on demonstration that is interesting and enjoyable - perhaps whilst partaking in a drink before lunch?

Rough Shoot Drive

Your main drives of the day will literally simulate live quarry traditionally presented on a "Shoot Day" - Pheasant, Partridge, Duck and Grouse. A very popular option is to have a Team Flush, 3 or 4 members of the group shoot simultaneously at a stream of simulated clay pigeon, crows, rabbits, hares and magpies. This is tremendous fun and an ideal way to finish the day. Gun Dog Display - See first hand how masterful handlers command their exquisitely trained dogs to 'work' the drive collecting 'birds' from obscure locations on command.
