Group Organiser

We sympathise with you! It’s a nightmare trying to find an activity that everyone wants to do at a price that’s right in a location that works for everyone on the date you all can manage that the Stag or Hen are happy with!

We don't claim to have a magical solution to your problems but we can help with the organising and say that clay pigeon shooting is huge fun, competitive, not muddy, available to young and old, men and women. We use low recoil, low noise cartridges so no bruised shoulders or headaches. It also doesn't cost the earth, gives you time to chat and doesn't ruin your hair or make up (that point is for the Stags of course!). It's also a good spectator sport so for those not so keen on activities it may be a good compromise.

At The Clay Shooting Company we'll also help you out with pricing other activities if required, suggesting or booking accommodation, organising transport and meal reservations and provisionally holding dates whilst you check with everyone it's OK with them!

What to Do:

Just Clay Pigeon Shooting

Our clay pigeon shooting package at either Cheltenham or Oxford includes 40 clays and cartridges each, full instruction, equipment hire, safety equipment, refreshments and insurance. Timescales: Groups/Parties of 8+ From an hour and a half to three hours depending on final numbers.

Clay Pigeon Shooting plus Archery, Falconry or Pistol Shooting

For parties of 10+ a combination of two of these activities work really well together and it isn’t overly expensive – Cheltenham or Oxford. An morning or afternoon of clay pigeon shooting followed by an archery or Pistol Shooting session works well and is suitable for both stag and hen groups. The larger the party size the cheaper the cost per person.

Clay Pigeon Shooting and Motorised Activity

For parties of 10+, Cheltenham or Oxford, the activities work well together but this combination is more expensive due to the motorised elements. The larger the party size the cheaper the cost per person.

Accommodation, Catering and Transport:

We have details of excellent accommodation close to the grounds if you need some advice. We can also recommend great places for lunch and organise transport where required. We don't do the nightlife but we can point you in the right direction!

Trap Hire

Perhaps you have your own land or venue in mind and would like us to host a clay pigeon shoot there for your stag or hen party. We can accommodate instruction sessions for groups, competition shoots or simulated game drives with manual or automatic traps. We would be happy to discuss this with you and provide a quotation.
