Clays On The Thames, London
The answer to all the logistical dilemmas of getting guests out of London, away from their desks and into the great outdoors! Join from virtually any pier along the Thames then watch the scenery pass by from either of our two stunning vessels as you travel out past the Thames Barrier to the point at which we moore in the Estuary to host the Clay Pigeon Shooting.
Timings can be tailored to fit your ideas – perhaps a morning cruise and lunch on the return? Lunch on the way out, an afternoon of clay shooting and back into Town before 5pm maybe? Perhaps a late afternoon departure in Summer with Pimms and canapés on the outward journey and a BBQ on the way home early evening? You choose. Any date Mon-Sat, minimum group charter is for 10 people but if you have a smaller group why not see if we have a ticketed event to suit your dates? These work well for smaller groups as it is more cost effective - it may suit some larger groups too if you are happy to share the experience with others.
The choices are vast and the catering is second to none whether you are aboard The Havengore or The Wyndham Grand. Each cruise is scheduled to be 5 hours long but this can be made longer if needs be.
More Ticketed Event Dates (see below) aboard The Georgian, £120 pp inc VAT. Price includes a 5 Hour cruise, clay shooting, 2 course lunch on board departing at 11.30am. Contemporary, imposing and imaginative, she may look like many other boats on the Thames but she masks her beauty with the plain white sides. Once on board you realise the owners of this boat have been inspired when renovating her. A stunning, well stocked bar, beautiful polished floors with discreet led lighting for evening events, built in 50” plasma screen for promotions and presentations and a huge upper deck ideal for clay pigeon shooting, bbqs, sightseeing and absorbing the sunshine.
The internal space is very adaptable, capable of taking over 100 people normally, we limit the numbers to 60 people clay pigeon shooting (but you could have a further 40 on board not doing the clay shooting). Versatile in that the space can be changed to make it feel cosy for small groups but she’s spacious even when she’s at capacity. Catering can be as simple or creative as you require.
An elegant, historic and stylish vessel, the Havengore is proud to have carried Winston Churchill’s coffin on his funeral parade. She provides an ideal venue for groups of 10 to 35 people The Havengore offers plenty of covered areas and indoor space to stay out of the midday heat or hide from the odd spot of rain. On board catering can be a simple affair with Bacon Butties and cold buffets to beautifully created bowl buffets and canapés or formal dining with a celebrity chef. You choose. Clay Shooting takes place from the front of the boat under the guidance of our professional and friendly instructors.

A stunning boat, with teak-panelled interior incorporating brass fittings, wall to wall carpeting and plush upholstery. Built in 1996 she features a magnificent saloon that enables passengers to have unimpeded views of the Thames whilst dining. Up to 80 can be served a silver service meal, or up to 140 can partake of one of our buffets yet despite her size a relatively small group of 10 or 15 people wouldn't feel swamped by the space – a very clever space!
The fully-equipped kitchen, where meals are prepared on board from fresh ingredients, also enables your chosen chef to operate with ease should you prefer to use your own caterers. Our onboard bar offers a complete range of alcoholic and soft drinks.
The top deck is covered by an automated sun roof which lowers as the boat passes under the low bridges of the upper Thames. This space is perfect for evening summer cocktail parties and BBQ's not to mention clay pigeon shooting.
